"Confronting the dire threat of climate change and its impact on global health is a priority for our school, and this book provides accessible and foundational information about the root causes of climate change. I selected this book to encourage our Pitt Public Health community to reflect on how our multidisciplinary expertise can best contribute to climate and health action. This book urges us to build community resilience in the face of climate change and my hope is that it will start a dialogue on a range of related topics, such as consumption, growth, equity, adaptation, mitigation, and more."
