University of Pittsburgh shares world stage with city of Pittsburgh, host of G-20 Summit

The University of Pittsburgh is a powerful economic and academic engine for the Pittsburgh region, and has drawn upon the multi-faceted expertise of its faculty to offer information on G-20 (2009 Pittsburgh Summit) topics of interest from a global perspective

The University is also involved in a G-20 related effort with Carnegie Mellon and UPMC called EDS & MEDS POWERHOUSES to showcase cutting-edge technologies, research centers and collaborative projects that have positively impacted life in the Pittsburgh region and beyond.

The leaders of both universities and UPMC have aligned their visions for the future with continuing focus on developing these initiatives, resources and centers. Media and G-20 delegates may register online to tour the centers, and discover more about the groundbreaking projects brought to life by the collaborative efforts of faculty and staff.
