EMBRACE Internship

The Equity in Maternal and Birthing Outcomes and Reproductive Health through Community Engagement (EMBRACE) Center at the University of Pittsburgh aims to advance maternal and reproductive health and justice among Black people in Allegheny County.

The EMBRACE Center will support three graduate students from the University of Pittsburgh for a practicum experience at one of three community sites from May 4 to July 10, 2026.

The internship will be approximately 25 hours a week over the 8 weeks. Each intern will be matched with a preceptor from the community site and an EMBRACE academic mentor. Interns will receive payment of $3,000.
