Jones will discuss The Medea Project: Theater  for Incarcerated Women and the process of creating productive dialogue to examine such conditions as racism, sexism, homophobia, addictions, and fear that greatly affect our daily lives. In addition, she will play video excerpts from her work and perform excerpts from her various writings and scripts.

Center for Global Health Student Travel Scholarship applications and guidelines are available on the CGH website here:

The purpose of the Global Health Travel Scholarship program is to partially support international travel expenses for master or doctoral students enrolled in one of the six health science schools at the University of Pittsburgh who want to conduct projects in a middle- or low-income country or resource-poor setting. The project must address a health issue of importance to the host organization and local populace. For a full list of guidelines and application pieces, please visit the link above.
