The University of Pittsburgh is closed for winter break from Wednesday, December 23-Friday, January 2.  The office will reopen on Monday, January 5. Due to winter break, many ambassadors are not available to chat or response time may be delayed. Some responses could be delayed until Monday, January 12. Thank you for your patience!

Follow these simple steps to get started:  

  1. Select an ambassador or staff member
  2. Complete a short profile, including which area of study you're most interested in pursuing.
  3. Adjust your "communication preferences" under "settings" or download the app (Apple or Android).

Choose a student ambassador to ask questions such as: 

  • What's it like living in Pittsburgh?
  • Why did you choose Pitt Public Health?
  • What are your plans after graduating from Pitt Public Health?
  • How do you balance your academic responsibilities with personal life?
  • What kind of research are you interested in?

Ask a staff member questions such as: 

  • What financial aid or scholarship opportunities are available?
  • What is the typical timeline for completing the program?
  • What kind of research opportunities are available to students?
  • How can I strengthen my application?
  • What makes an application stand out?
