Contributions to Public Health

  • My research focuses on gender-based, social, and economic inequities and structural interventions for health promotion. In my work, I use integrated quantitative and qualitative methods and a stakeholder-engaged approach for action-oriented research. My work currently focuses on:
  • Understanding the context of HIV risk, intimate partner violence, biobehavioral prevention, and intervention development for cisgender women.
    • "Stakeholder Intervention Research for Women-Centered PrEP for Contexts of IPV" (PI: O'Malley, 2025; Rustbelt Center for AIDS Research), a pilot study using concept mapping to understand relationship and prioritization of multi-level barriers and facilitators to cisgender women's PrEP care continuum engagement in contexts of IPV.
