NRG Oncology Statistics and Data Management Center is a National Cancer Institute-sponsored cooperative clinical trials group dedicated to the evaluation of new modalities of treatment and prevention for multiple types of cancer. NRG Oncology is internationally recognized for its contributions in breast and colorectal cancer and has randomized more than 200,000 patients to more than 150 randomized clinical trials. Biostatistics faculty and staff direct and staff the NRG Oncology Statistics and Data Management Center.

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center

Affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh School of MedicineFaculty members in the Department of Biostatistics direct and staff the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Working with more than 100 cancer researchers, the facility supports the design and analysis of laboratory-based studies, early-phase clinical trials, clinical investigations, and population-science studies of cancer.

Center for Occupational Biostatistics and Epidemiology (COBE)

The Center for Occupational Biostatistics and Epidemiology (COBE) is a research center within the Department of Biostatistics dedicated to occupational and environmental health research in the United States, and area of research the Department of Biostatistics has been a leader in for more than 45 years. The mission of COBE, based on an approach that is collaborative and multidisciplinary, is to build on the department’s successful, long-standing history in developing and applying biostatistical methods to the study of workplace exposures and health outcomes.
