Celebrate black culture with food, raffle prizes, musical performances, spoken word artists, step, and more!

The program will showcase the culture and growth of African Americans throughout history while reflecting on the first pioneers of African American health care professionals here at Pitt: the first nursing students, the first dean within the University, the first medical students, the first pharmacy degree awarded. 

Admission is free, $5/person for meal and drink tickets benefits the Funding for Advancement of Minority Education. 

Sponsored by Pitt's pharmaceutical, medical, and dental student associations, Pitt Public Health's Minority Student Organization, and Pitt Nursing's VITAL.
