Long, PCMI Student, Works to Eradicate Malaria

Adrienne Long , a Peace Corps Master’s International student at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health, has been teaching people in her Peace Corps village in Mozambique to prevent malaria infections. She has been a Peace Corps volunteer in Mozambique since May 2011.

University of Pittsburgh Recruits Renowned Cancer Epidemiologist

The University of Pittsburgh has appointed Jian-Min Yuan, MD, PhD, as the associate director for cancer control and population sciences and the leader of the Cancer Epidemiology, Prevention and Control Program at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. In addition, Dr. Yuan will serve as visiting professor of epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health.
