The latest rankings also maintain Pitt’s place as the highest-ranked health care administration program in Pennsylvania.

“This result shows that we are a destination for future leaders in health care administration,” said Health Policy and Management Vice Chair for Education and Director of the MHA and MHA/MBA programs Kevin Broom, PhD, MBA. “Our position as a top program is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students and faculty in the program and after graduating.”

The MHA program offers students a competency-based curriculum and an array of professional development resources and activities to prepare graduates for key leadership roles across the health industry. Employment settings include health systems, health insurance, consulting, group practice management and many other industry employers.

Through engaged learning experiences, including management residencies integrated into the curriculum, the MHA program enables graduates to excel in the health care industry.

The MHA program continues to graduate and place its students at a high rate. Graduates have gone on to successful careers in executive positions in the health care industry across the United States and around the world.
