Pitt Public Health rises in latest U.S. News rankings

The University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health continues to be recognized among the nation’s top programs in the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings. The school rose to No. 14 overall, advancing two spots from last year. Across specialty areas, Pitt Public Health earned strong placements in the Master of Health Administration program (No. 12), Biostatistics (No. 13, best health schools, No. 16, best science schools), Environmental Health (No. 16), Health Policy and Management (No. 16), Epidemiology (No. 17) and Social and Behavioral Sciences (No. 17).

“These rankings reflect the collaborative excellence across Pitt Public Health and the momentum we’re building in precision public health,” said Dean Maureen Lichtveld. “We’re proud of the impact our faculty, students and partners are making. Through innovation and education, we are making science work for our communities in Pittsburgh and around the world.”
