PittCoVax Center seeks student ambassadors, other faculty and student engagement as they prepare to add flu shots and COVID boosters

A message from the PittCoVax Vaccination Center:

We are pleased to have the opportunity to reach back out to each of you as we ramp up vaccination efforts over the next three weeks for Flu Vaccinations and anticipate readiness for COVID-19 boosters (when approved by the FDA).  Since January 2021, you have supported our campus in providing nearly 22,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines with over 900 volunteers across campus.  THANK YOU!

Current Operations:

The PittCoVax Vaccination Center is located at 4041 Fifth Ave within Nordenberg Hall and is currently open 6 days per week.  Thanks to the team at University Pharmacy for ensuring we have all three COVID-19 vaccines available daily.  We will begin adding flu vaccinations on Sept 16th during daily operating hours.  We will also be hosting 3 mass flu clinics:

  • Petersen Events Center—September 15, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and September 21, 6:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
  • William Pitt Union—September 29, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the HealthyU Fair

Opportunities for Student and Faculty Engagement:

We welcome you to join us at the Center, including collaborating on education outreach visits.  There are three ways you and your students can connect with us:
