Registration is now open for THE EMERGENCE AND GLOBAL SPREAD OF COVID-19 fall course!


In this course, students will learn about the emergence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in 2019, and its global spread to the present date. This course will be taught with an infectious disease prevention and control focus, but will cross-cut each major discipline within public health. The course will emphasize small group work related to designing targeted interventions based on examples of successful mitigation.

Open to Pitt graduate and undergraduate students (with permission).
Student limit capped at 100.
