Claire McCreavy (IDM '21) was awarded a 2020 Bob Yee Public Health Scholarship. A native of Lafayette Hill, PA, McCreavy is pursuing an MPH with a concentration in infectious disease management, intervention, and community practice (MPH-MIC). She studied public health/health promotion at the undergraduate level at West Chester University of PA and is interested in Irish dance, traveling, and hiking.
Named in honor of professor emeritus Robert B. Yee and funded by generous contributions from alumni and friends of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology, this scholarship is awarded to three IDM master's students each year based on academic merit. Donations to the Bob Yee Fund can be made by mail or via publichealth.pitt.edu/yee.
