Victoria Crall graduated from Duquesne University in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Biology. From there she attended Pitt Public Health where she completed a master's degree in epidemiology in 2013. Knowing she wanted to pursue a career in public health, she sought a position in infection prevention at UPMC. In January of 2016, she began a career as an iinfection preventionist at UPMC Presbyterian. Her main areas of interest are preventing surgical site infections and improving practices in the operating room. Other areas of interest include infection prevention education, emergency preparedness, and increasing hand hygiene and PPE compliance.

On her time at Pitt Public Health: "Through the diversity of the programs and the dedication of the professors, I gained the foundation needed to truly understand the role of public health in the community. The passion of the organization for furthering the public health field through education made for a tremendously fulfilling experience."

When asked about her favorite part of her job Crall says, "My favorite part of my current role is using my education to create a safer environment for staff and patients. During the COVID-19 crisis this has been a difficult task, but I couldn't be prouder of the way my fellow infection prevention team has come together to ensure the safety of all."
