June 30th Last Day to Access Pitt Bridges

Pitt Public Health Career Services will be switching our online job board and career management system from Pitt Bridges to Handshake over the summer. All current students and alumni who graduated in 2017 or later already have access to Handshake via my.pitt.edu or pitt.joinhandshake.com, and can log in using their Pitt username and password. Alumni who graduated in 2016 or earlier can contact Career Services to sign up for an account.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Access to Pitt Bridges will end on June 30th. Until then, the job board will still be available, and students and alumni can still request appointments with Career Services staff.
  • A Pitt Public Health "career hub" will be established on Handshake by August 1st with events and resources specific to public health graduate students. In the meantime, you will continue to have full access to Handshake, including the job board and University-wide resources.
  • Handshake will offer the same functionality as Pitt Bridges. You will be able to make one-on-one appointments with Pitt Public Health Career Services staff, apply for jobs, find relevant career articles and resources, and sign up for events and workshops specific to our school.

Handshake will provide access to a greater number of job, internship, fellowship, and postdoctoral opportunities from local, national, and international employers seeking graduate-level talent; allow you to explore and discover organizations that are actively hiring; and provide easier access to all career-related events happening on campus, not only those within our school.

Any questions or concerns can be directed to Joan Anson, Director of Career Services (anson@pitt.edu), or Kim Abraham, Career Services Specialist (kam418@pitt.edu).
