Subramanian Thothathri (IDM '20) was awarded a 2019 Bob Yee Public Health Scholarship. A native of Chennai, India, Thothathri is pursuing an MS in infectious diseases and microbiology. He holds an undergraduate bioengineering degree from Sastra University and is interested in mixed martial arts and music.

Named in honor of professor emeritus Robert B. Yee, and funded by generous contributions from alumni and friends of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology, this scholarship is awarded to three incoming IDM master's students (MPH or MS) each year based on academic merit. Donations to the Bob Yee Fund can be made by mail or via the link at publichealth.pitt.edu/yee.
