The Educational Policies and Curriculum Committee (EPCC) approved a diversity statement drafted by the Faculty Diversity Committee in December 2018. This diversity statement is now one of four required statements for all Pitt Public Health syllabi, starting spring 2019.
Last fall, the EPCC committee also shortened Pitt Public Health's Academic Integrity statement and voted to make both that statement and the University of Pittsburgh's Sexual Misconduct, Required Reporting, and Title IX statement mandatory. In addition to these recent updates, the University's Disability Resources and Services statement is still required. Statements can be found under "For Teaching" at publichealth.pitt.edu/epccforms.
