Please note that on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, there will be an electrical outage of normal power from 10:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.
The reason for this outage is the 5-year testing for electrical maintenance.
This outage would exclude any type of equipment on the life safety or back-up generators.
On this day, you should shut down your computer and other electrical items. While most of the equipment in the Parran-annex Lab Pavilion is on back-up emergency power, some items may not be.
Starting tentatively on June 5th, technicians from Facilities Management will be working with the lab researchers to identify any critical equipment that does not have back-up power to try to cover these items.
You will receive updated notices as we progress with outage preparations.
