Yesterday was filled with pomp and circumstance as eager graduates strode into the Carnegie Music Hall auditorium, led by convocation marshall, HUGEN's ROBIN GRUBS, to celebrate degrees completed. HPM's WESLEY ROHRER received the James L. Craig Excellence in Teaching Award, presented by ABIGAIL TAN, Student Government Association president; and addressing the crowd as convocation speaker was Ambassador Deborah Birx, U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator and U.S. Special Representative for Global Health Diplomacy. The Good Shepherd Alumni Handbell Team of Braddock, Pennsylvania provided music before and after the degree ceremony, and a reception followed.
