This new edition (Springer Publishing Company, 2010) updates the 2004 book with new chapters on the aging services network as a public health intervention, prevention of chronic disease and disability, and public health efforts for long-term care populations. The book comes with a teaching guide and has already been adopted by a number of university classes nationwide.
