On July 9, 2008, Pennsylvania Department of Health Deputy Secretary of Health Planning and Assessment, Michael Huff, presented 7 SHIP Affiliated Partnership Awards “for outstanding or innovative initiatives.” The McKeesport SHIP received this award along with 6 other SHIPs from around the Commonwealth. GSPH’s Center for Healthy Aging has been a leader in the McKeesport SHIP for a number of years serving as the Lead Agency for its Elder Logic Model Team. <st1:personname w:st="%on%">David Fetterman, CHA Director of Education and Community Outreach Coordinator, represented CHA at the awards ceremony in <st1:city w:st="%on%"><st1:place w:st="%on%">Harrisburg.
