Caterina Rosano, MD, MPH, professor of epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health, has been selected as a fellow in the 2026–2027 class of the Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine Program (ELAM).
ELAM is a highly competitive national program that prepares mid- to senior-level women faculty for executive leadership roles in academic health centers.
Administered by Drexel University College of Medicine, ELAM selects fellows through a rigorous application process from across medicine, public health, dentistry and pharmacy. Participants engage in an intensive, yearlong curriculum focused on leadership development, institutional strategy and organizational change.
Rosano’s selection places her among a distinguished cohort of faculty recognized for their leadership, accomplishments and potential to advance academic health institutions nationwide. She joins fellow University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health faculty members Tiffany Gary-Webb, PhD, MHS, professor of epidemiology, a 2024 program alum, and Anne Newman, MD, MPH, professor emerita of epidemiology, who completed the program in 2007.
