Every year for Dean's Day the department of HUGEN awards two prizes for its students.

This year's winner for the master's category is Megan Hager (MS/MPH '18). She presented a poster on Assessing Perinatal Palliative Care Education within Genetic Counseling Training Programs.

The doctoral category award went to Teresa Capasso (PHD '21). She presented a poster on Bmp10 is necessary for Alk1 activation in skin and liver vasculature throughout life.

Dean's Day is an annual student research competition. Students present their research during multiple poster sessions while faculty members judge presentations for prizes and students evaluate posters for Grand Rounds credit. The Dean invites selected presenters to give oral presentations of their work during the awards ceremony.
