Human Genetics Department News

Faculty in the Department of Human Genetics have won a very prestigious award from the International and American Associations of Dental Research

"John R. Shaffer, Eleanor Feingold, Dan E. Weeks, M. Michael Baramada, and Mary L. Marazita and co-authors are the recipients of the 2013 William J. Gies Award for Biological Research presented by the International and American Associations of Dental Research for their paper, Shaffer et al., "Genome-wide association scan for childhood caries implicates novel genes." Journal of Dental Research 2011 90(12):1457-62." 

We will now be offering HUGEN 2051 "Inborn Errors of Development"

HuGen 2051 "Inborn Errors of Development" next semester (Spring 2013). This is an advanced course which explores the relationship between development and human inherited disease.
