Personal Statement

Development of humanized animal (mouse, rat and rabbit) models with human skin, immune system and other tissues for studying skin vaccines and adjuvants against human infectious (HIV, HCV, arboviruses, etc.) diseases with associated immune/inflammatory responses and pathogenesis.

 

Investigation of the persistence of lymphoid tissue fibrosis and immunomodulation following HIV infection in the Humanized mouse model.
