Faculty Retreat & Faculty Meeting

Each fall, the FSEC invites all Pitt Public Health faculty to attend a retreat in the morning, culminating in lunch, typically in October. 

Each spring, Pitt Public Health holds an annual meeting, generally in May. All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to participate in this school-wide meeting.

2019 Fall Faculty Retreat

Ryan Minster, FSEC president, Mary Hawk, FSEC president-elect, and Cathy Haggerty, FSEC past president invite all Pitt Public Health faculty to attend our annual Fall Faculty Retreat on the morning of Monday, October 21, 2019, 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the University Club, Ballroom A. 

Details and agenda to be announced. Mark your calendars and plan to attend. Register by October 7!

Note: As no fall holiday is envisioned for this year, this will be a regular day for classes.

Minimize 2018 Spring Faculty Meeting with Senior Vice Chancellor

Each spring, Pitt Public Health holds an annual faculty meeting with the senior vice chancellor for the health sciences, generally in May. The dean provides an update on the state of the school and the chancellor answers pre-submitted questions from the faculty.

The 2017 Graduate School of Public Health school-wide faculty retreat was held on Monday, October 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Schenley Ballroom of the Wyndham Pittsburgh University Center (100 Lytton Ave.). This half-day retreat is modeled after last year's event, starting with a breakfast and ending with a lunch, and with all sessions running in series.
