Pitt study touts intensive glucose control for diabetics

The numbers are in, and the results are clear: Blood sugar control is key to preventing complications for people with type 1 diabetes.The University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public Health tracked people with type 1 diabetes for three decades to determine the causes of diabetes complications, which can involve kidney and eye damage, cardiovascular disease and circulation problems. 

Swimming a good way to get some exercise

Who do you think would be a better swimmer: a 23-year-old or an 86-year-old? If the 23-yearold was me and the 86-year-old was my grandmother, I would put money on the 86-year-old!
