For our fall journal club, the eBrain group will continue our examination of the intersection of cerebral small vessel disease and neurodegenerative pathologies with a focus on vascular contributions to Alzheimer’s disease. Journal club meetings are open to anyone with an interest in this topic, regardless of discipline or expertise, and we hope to stimulate multidisciplinary discussion and collaboration.

2015-2020: Co-principal Investigator: A worksite-based lifestyle program for reducing diabetes and cardiovascular disease in India. Funded by US National Institutes of Health.
2016-2018:  Co-investigator: Population Prevalence of Vitamin D deficiency in Urban and Rural Delhi and its Association with Cardiovascular Disease Risk factors. Funded by Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
2016-2018: Principal Investigator: The Kerala Diabetes Prevention Programme. Funded by World Diabetes Federation.
2012-2018: Role-Co-investigator: DISHA Study-Diet and lifestyle interventions for hypertension risk reduction through anganwadi workers and accredited social health activists. Funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research.
2014-2017: Co-investigator (India): Enhanced integration of primary and secondary health systems and patient empowerment through improved continuity of patient care and clinical handover. Funded by Medical Research Council UK.
