June 12 - Health Department Resources 

EPI's Catherine Haggerty and HPM's Wendy Braund will lead a conversation about the health department response to COVID-19 at the local and state levels. Haggerty will start the conversation with a discussion of the approaches, impact, and challenges of containment and mitigation efforts at the county level. Braund will continue the conversation by comparing and contrasting the response at the state level.

Each Friday this May and June, Pitt Public Health experts will have a conversation about different aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic and then address questions from the seminar attendees. The goal of the COVID-19 seminar series is to provide our school community, alumni, and the public with credible information about the virus and the associated health impacts.
