In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15-Oct. 15), the Center for Health Equity (CHE) invites all students, faculty, staff, and community members to this lecture on engaging "hard-to-reach" populations. Lecturers include: Dr. Lisa Vaughn, Professor of Pediatrics at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine/Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, is formally trained as a social psychologist and widely published in CBPR, community engagement, qualitative research methodologies, and social determinants of health and well-being specifically with minority and immigrant families and vulnerable youth. And, Dr. Farrah Jacquez, Professor and Assistant Head of the Psychology Department at the University of Cincinnati. Her work focuses on community-engaged approaches to health equity and broadening participation in science and research.
