Join fellow Pitt Public Health instructors for the Evidence-Based Teaching Practices Workshop series! Throughout the semester, we will explore how to implement proven teaching strategies in the classroom. At each workshop in this eight-part series, we will facilitate a discussion of a chapter of How Learning Works: 7 Research-Based Principles for Smart Teaching (available to read for free online).

At our final session, we will discuss how to apply the seven principles of learning to ourselves (Conclusion and Appendices). 

All interested faculty, staff, postdocs, teaching assistants, and students are welcome to participate, and each workshop can be taken independently of one another. Reading ahead of time is encouraged, but not required for participation.
