The Ford Foundation has generously offered to sponsor 10 travel stipends of $2,000 to support graduate student participation in Modeling the World's Systems conference.
Those interested should submit a one-page summary discussing:
- Why they are intersted in attending the 2019 Modeling the World's Systems conference.
- How attending the conference will contribute to their academic/professional development (e.g., What are you working on in your research?)
- Why it is important to model the world's systems
Submit your summary to jrlawson@pitt.edu by March 1. Students whose summaries are accepted will be notified of the award by March 15.
The conference will be held in the Hall of States Building in Washington, D.C. May 13-15, 2019. Learn more and register.
