GSPH Represented on Governor-Elect Corbett's Transition Team


Among the 400 people tapped by Pennsylvania governor-elect Tom Corbett to serve on his transition team are three with ties to GSPH.

Everette James, JD, MBA, associate vice chancellor for health policy and planning for the schools of the health sciences and professor in the GSPH Department of Health Policy & Management, was appointed to the Health and Aging Committee.

Two members of GSPH’s Board of Visitors will also serve on the transition team. Jim Roddey, former Allegheny County chief executive, was appointed to the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and the Economic Development Committee; and Mary Jo White, state senator from Venango County, will serve on the Energy and Environment Committee.

In addition, Pitt Chancellor Mark A. Nordenberg will co-chair the education committee.
