CMH Healthy Black Family Project Featured on WQED

As part of a week-long series called "Closing the Gap," WQED's OnQ Magazine featured the Healthy Black Family Project in its Monday, February 18, episode. The segment on HBFP features the Rev. Verna Vaughn, a minister who is also an African dance instructor. Through the Center for Minority Health, Rev. Vaughn teaches classes for the CMH's HBFP at the Kingsley Center's newly renovated exercise studios. Class participants talk with OnQ's Chris Moore about getting a handle on health, as well as spiritual issues. The segment can be viewed here.
