Samar R. El Khoudary, PhD, MPH, Assistant Professor of Epidemiology, received the Trudy Bush Fellowship for Cardiovascular Research in Women’s Health. The award is given by the American Heart Association Council on Epidemiology and Prevention to recognize the top three abstracts related to cardiovascular research in women’s health accepted to their annual conference. This year’s conference was held March 22 to 25 in Atlanta, GA. Samar's abstract is titled,
"Endogenous Sex Hormones Impact the Progression of Subclinical Atherosclerosis in Women during the Menopausal Transition".
