Maria Brooks to Receive the 2013 Craig Award for Teaching Excellence


Maria Brooks, associate professor of epidemiology, has been selected as this year’s recipient of the James L. Craig Award for Teaching Excellence for her exceptional service in and outside of the classroom, encouraging the learning and professional growth of all of her students and advisees, ensuring that classroom content is meaningful and relevant, well thought out and organized, as well as being able to teach complex concepts. The award will be presented at Pitt Public Health Convocation on Sunday, April 28. Congratulations!
