Quinn Presents at International Crisis Meeting

Sandra Quinn, PhD, associate dean for student affairs and education, presented at an invitation-only meeting on mega-crises in the Hague, Netherlands. The conference, held June 18-19, 2009, brought together senior government officials and researchers from the Netherlands, France, the United States, and China and was sponsored by the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations in the Netherlands. Working with Ira Helsloot, PhD, from the Free University of Amsterdam, Quinn is co-authoring a chapter on pandemic influenza and community response that will be included in an edited volume on mega-crises, due for publication in late 2009.
