New student orientation is a program designed to provide students with the information and resources needed for a successful experience at GSPH. This year's orientation will take place on Friday, August 28. Helpful information can also be found on the New Student Arrival Checklist.
In addition to hearing from GSPH and University administrators about academic policies and student services, you will:
- meet your department's faculty, new, and continuing GSPH students in an informal session, including a pizza lunch;
- meet leaders of student organizations and learn how you may participate in their activities and contribute to the governance of our school;
- experience public health in action in the community with our Plunge into Public Health and Pittsburgh.
- finally, learn about the academic requirements and opportunities that await you during your GSPH education.
So that we can introduce you to your fellow GSPH classmates at orientation, please complete the short personal survey at www.surveymonkey.com/gsphorientation. Also e-mail us a photograph of yourself for inclusion in the survey presentation. We need to receive both no later than Friday, July 17.
