The Strategic Plan for the Graduate School of Public Health, created through a deliberative and collaborative process, carefully reviewed and revised, and endorsed by the faculty and our Board of Visitors, maps the future of the school through 2012.
Though the task of creating the plan is complete, the work of implementation and assessing our progress will be continuous. This process has also been carefully planned; we will have several opportunities for the school as a whole and the departments and centers to report to the GSPH community about their progress in meeting the goals outlined in the plan.
In this way, the plan will have effects that reach far beyond 2012. It is my hope that by integrating strategic thinking into our everyday operations, we will maintain a clear vision of where we should go and how best to get there.
