FERPA and Student Privacy
The Federal Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as amended, prohibits sharing information about students without authorization. Students who do not want their directory information released must complete a form and submit it to both the GSPH Office of Student Affairs and to the Office of the Registrar, G-3 Thackeray Hall.
Our privacy policy does not permit us to discuss students' affairs with third parties - including parents - unless we have written permission from the student specifically stating with whom we may speak and about what issues. If you wish to authorize contact with a third party, please send your written permission to Mary Derkach in the Office of Student Affairs, 114 Parran Hall.
