Financial Aid

GSPH for You

Graduate School of Public Health is a top-ranked, world-renowned institution with contributions that have influenced public health practices and medical care in the Pittsburgh region as well as all across the world.

Financial Aid

Almost all GSPH doctoral students and many master’s students receive some type of financial aid, whether that be a student loan, a full or partial scholarship, a fellowship, a student hourly job, or an assistantship.

As is the case at other schools, GSPH is not able to guarantee funding to every student, although last year the school provided over 5 million dollars in financial aid. Most financial aid is provided through the student’s department. The amount of aid available varies considerably among the programs.

Special considerations apply to international students, who are not usually eligible for loans or scholarships. However, departments may award graduate student research positions to international students.

For more information on financial aid available at GSPH, check your department’s web site.
