Grand Rounds Center for Health Equity’s Fall 2016 Symposium on Criminal Justice

The Center for Health Equity will be hosting a Fall 2016 Symposium on Criminal Justice with a panel of three speakers and one moderator.

SPEAKERS

Professor David Harris teaches at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He works regularly with police departments, prosecutors, defense attorneys, judges, and bar associations.

Dionna Rojas Orta is the Your Child Your Choice Coordinator at the PEAL Center where she assists and provides parents with a child disabled child information and support on how to advocate for quality education in an education setting of their choosing.

Raymond C. Logan, specializes in assisting organizations in understanding how nonconscious individual and group processes impact work systems, organizational goal and task accomplishment, role performance, and how to effectively identify and manage these processes.

MODERATOR

Gina Brooks, project coordinator, Community Violence Prevention Project Homicide Review, Behavioral and Community Health Sciences, coordinates the homicide review component covering Allegheny County and City of Pittsburgh homicides.
