This new Critical Public Health journal club seeks to spark critical and reflexive conversations with attention to deeper social & historical contexts, ‘unintended consequences’ of intervention & research, and dynamics of power. We will also seek to identify alternative frameworks to enact in research and practice. Interdisciplinary and open to all!
October reading: Coveney, J., & Bunton, R. (2003). In pursuit of the study of pleasure: Implications for health research and practice. Health, 7(2), 161-179.
